KIMMIE!!!
you are an amazing skater. Watching you skate is amazing! Seeing it live is even cooler!
Your triple triples are AMAZING- some of the best ever! Most of the time when
i see you do them, you do them like you have been doing them forever. And you
always have really fun programs to watch. Along with that, you are one of the sweetest and
most generous people out there. Not only are you a great skater but you are also a
great person. I hope World's goes really great for you, that your ankel gets healed
and well rested, and that college is still going well. You're in my prayers girl!!!

Courtney
Kimmie, I want to thank you for showing the world how to be gracious, both in victory and
in defeat. Thank you for showing everyone how to keep going when the going gets
tough. Thank you for being a beautiful young lady both outside, and inside, where
it really counts. Despite your recent troubles, I think you have showed
tremendous progress in your overall skating this year, and you should hold your head up
high. If I ever have daughters, I will point to you as a shining example of
kindness, dedication, hard work, modesty, and graciousness. I can think of no better role
model for today's children AND adults than you. Best of luck at Worlds!

Kimmie, you are a true inspiration, not only as an athlete but as a human being. You
always have the best attitude no matter what happens, and all the charity work you have
done is so wonderful. Believe in yourself and don't let a couple of not-so-great
competitions get you down. I will be rooting for you 100% to have an
amazing performance at Worlds!

Hi Kimmie,
Let's forget what happened at Nationals 2008 and move on. Kim you can go far beyond that
night and come back as the TRUE CHAMPION you are!
I have all confidence you will rise to the very top at 4- continents and Worlds. Go for it
Kimmie, YOU are the best on the senior womens team.
Best of luck,
Your faithful fan,
miles

Dear Kimmie,
All skaters (well...all people for that matter) go through periods of time where nothing
seems to go right. Yet, it is these difficult times when we are faced with
pain and in some ways brokenness, that allow us to grow as people (and skaters).
When a part of us is broken—it allows us to grow and become more
passionate, more caring, and more beautiful.
My heart absolutely broke for you as I watched you struggle through your long program at
Nationals. Yet, you handled your disappointment with so much grace and maturity
that you became all the more beautiful for it
. I have always respected your honesty, humility, and genuineness. You are an excellent role
model for all the younger skaters (yes, including the ones who now compete against
you)…and even for your fans. As I watched you skate to Nessun Dorma on Saturday evening,
I was struck by how grown-up you now look. Your skating is absolutely
lovely! You skate with power combined with grace and I love this program for you even
though this particular performance was a struggle.
I believe that you will come through this and will be the stronger for it. I hope to see
you skate at the World Championships with freedom and joy—show the world why you
love to skate. I’ll be cheering you on.
A fan for always…
Joelle
