Everyone probably knows already especially if keep up with the icenetwork but if not Kimmie ended up 2nd in France behind Mao Asada. She made a few mistakes in her short and in her long I think she doubled a jump and fell on her triple loop. She actually finished 3rd in the freeskate but combined with her short she finished 2nd. With finishing 2nd here and 1st at Skate America Kimmie has qualified for the Grand Prix Final which is something that she has never gone to yet. So that is great and congratulations to Kimmie! Added over 20 images to the gallery from the event.

| I'm Back |
|
I'm back and I am exhausted but I knew I had to get on and update here. I just got back home from Raleigh, NC last night at 10:30 and couldn't update until now. I was down in Raleigh for the 2008 Eastern Sectional Championships and it was so much fun. My brother was competing in the Senior Men's Event where he finished 10th. We were happy for him because he skated two really good programs. I only watched the Senior Men and Ladies but it was so awesome to see that level of skating. To see Shaun Rogers pull off a quad and triple axel were amazing to see in person. Watching on tv doesn't come close! I got to see Parker Pennington too and he is pretty amazing. My family is actually on pretty good terms with both Shaun and Parker. Then in the ladies event that was crazy. The girl who won Katrina Hacker is an amazing skater. She doesn't have all of her triples but she is really good and well polished. The event was crazy and I felt bad for Taylor Firth who didn't make it out. Her short program wasn't so good but her long was amazing. But she was too low to move up. Anyways that was what I did.

| Going Away |
|
This probably isn't the best time for me to be going out of town with Kimmie competing and all but I am. Beginning Thursday I will be gone and I won't be able to update until next Monday. I know it isn't the best of news but I promise that as soon as I get back the images and all that I find will be added. Anything that comes up before Thursday will be added but anything after that won't be until next Monday. For the latest results go to usfigureskating.org or the icenetwork.com
