Updates
Sorry for the lack of updates this last week. I have been dealing with a lot personally. This week emotionally has been crazy and just up and down. I am sorry and I know I promised to get screencaps and all of this stuff but I haven't felt much for updating. Right now I am in a lot of need of prayer that God continues to strengten me and give me courage. I will try to update some of those things this week. Sorry again.

Shameless Plug
So for those who would like to get to know more about me. I have opened up a personal site on myself. I use it partly as a blog and most importantly as a tool to reach out to those to share my love for God. The site is still in the works and most of it isn't there but you can keep checking back and more will be added daily. Click on the picture below to go there.

So the ladies freeskate was today. I didn't know until I got home late tonight so sorry for the late post. But Kimmie finished in 7th overall. She got 12th in the freeskate. She fell twice on her second triple lutz and the triple salchow. But I am still so proud of her!! We still love you!!! I have added a bunch of new images from the long program. Kimmie got a new dress very nice!!! High quality images will hopefully come soon!

Worlds
Well right now Kimmie is sitting in 9th place! Kimmie skated a clean program minus the triple-triple but that is okay. She is only 3 points out of third so all is good. All my best to Kimmie. I have added a bunch of pictures from the short program. They aren't the best quality but those will be added shortly. Great job again Kimmie!!

Meissner felt great during solid short program
(03/19/2008) - In the mixed zone after the ladies short program at the 2008 ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Gothenburg, Kimberly Meissner wore something reporters had not seen in a while -- a 500-watt smile. "Oh yeah, I'm happy," the 18-year-old skater beamed.

"That was the best I could do right now, and I did it. It's great to come back after some hard performances and skate like that."

Meissner sits ninth after the short program but is just 3.85 points out of third place. The other two American ladies competing here, Bebe Liang and Ashley Wagner, also had solid shorts and are in 10th and 11th place, respectively.

Meissner, the 2006 world champion, was the final competitor of the ladies short program, a 53-skater event that spanned six hours (just 24 ladies will perform in the free skate).

"It was a lot better than having to follow Mao [Asada] at the Tokyo worlds last year," Meissner said, alluding to her short program performance at Tokyo's Metropolitan Gymnasium in front of 7,000 of the Japanese champion's adoring fans.

Second chance for skater Kimmie Meissner at worlds
DETROIT (Reuters) - Kimmie Meissner hopes a change of coach and the gift of a spot in this week's world figure skating championships will help to salvage a career that has been on a dizzying downward spiral.

Two years ago, when she was 16, the American was the toast of the figure skating world, captivating fans and judges with a combination of daring athleticism and girlish charm to claim the 2006 world title.

This week, it will be a somewhat less effervescent Meissner stepping on to the ice in Gothenburg, Sweden, for the world championships, her crowns gone along with her confidence, buried under a string of stunningly poor performances.

In a sport increasingly dominated by younger skaters, there are already whispers that Meissner's time has come and gone.

Last March, she surrendered her world title to Japan's Miki Ando and in January she stumbled to an embarrassing seventh place at the U.S. Nationals while 14-year-old Mirai Nagasu skated away with her crown.

"Obviously I haven't had the best couple of competitions. I'm just trying to work on getting my confidence level back up and really feeling consistent with my jumps and program," Meissner told reporters during a conference call ahead of the championships, which were opening on Tuesday.

"I'm just trying to get in a good state of mind so I can go out there and perform the way I would like to. I know I can do better."
