Just A Reminder
I just want to remind people that this is just a fansite. I am not Kimmie nor do I know her. I have gotten a few e-mails outside of the messages to Kimmie addressed to me as though I am Kimmie. I am not Kimmie nor do I have contact with her family. The e-mail address on the contact me is the contact e-mail for me Danielle the webmiss. This site is unofficial and has no relation to Kimmie. Any e-mails sent to me for Kimmie will be deleted unless they are coming through the messages portion of this site. I am not trying to be mean in saying this I just don't want people to send me messages thinking that Kimmie is going to respond back to them. Thanks and thanks to everyone for all the continued support on this site.

Kimmie Meissner to Train with Richard Callaghan
(2/4/08) - Kimberly Meissner, 2006 World champion and 2007 U.S. champion, announced today that she will spend the next six weeks training with Richard Callaghan in preparation for the 2008 World Championships.
“I'm just really trying to put all my focus and energy into training for Worlds,” Meissner said. “I'm grateful to Pam Gregory for everything she has done, but I needed to make some changes in order to regain my focus and confidence.”
Meissner, who began skating competitively in 2000, won gold at this year's Skate America in Reading, Pa. She followed with a silver medal at Trophée Eric Bompard in Paris and a sixth-place finish at the Grand Prix Final in Torino, Italy.
After a seventh-place finish last week at the 2008 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Saint Paul, Minn., Meissner decided a coaching change was necessary.
“I know I'm capable of making the podium at Worlds; that's my main goal right now,” Meissner said.
Callaghan is perhaps best known for coaching Todd Eldredge, a six-time U.S. champion and the 1996 World champion. Eldredge will also assist Meissner in her training for the upcoming World Championships. Callaghan has also worked with 2004 World champion Shizuka Arakawa, 1998 Olympic champion Tara Lipinski and 1995 U.S. champion Nicole Bobek

Meissner's switch a good move
A week ago, I suggested that the best chance for figure skater Kimmie Meissner to make a quick fix of her jumping problems would be to work with coach Richard Callaghan.
Guess what Meissner announced she was doing?
"I didn't know I had that kind of power," I told Callaghan when we spoke Monday.
"I guess you do," he said, laughing.
Thus emboldened, I sent this text message to Meissner's agent, Yuki Saegusa of IMG:
"Do I get a finder's fee?"
Saegusa played along.
"If she wins worlds, we can talk," the agent replied.
Seriously, Meissner's decision to leave longtime coach Pam Gregory was a sign she had realized what I had written in December: that her career is at a crossroads.
"I needed to make some changes in order to regain my focus and confidence," Meiss- ner said in a Monday statement.
You may have noticed that I have moved both the wallpaper and blends sections to the gallery. I did this because I think it is easier to view and navigate through. That being said two new blends have been added. One is made by me and the other by my friend Secret.
